Have you ever sat next to a Triceratops, a Woolly Mammoth, or gotten up close to a T-Rex?
At T-Rex Cafe, the possibilities are endless! Life-sized animatronics, special effects, and unique dining areas each themed to represent three elements (Water, Fire, and Ice) help recreate the wondrous Age of the Dinosaurs! Educational Tours require advanced scheduling and can be customized for any age group or special needs. Kids will learn about:
- Characteristics of our featured dinosaurs
- Fossils and evidence of dinosaurs today
- Marine life and Aquarium Exhibits
When you arrive for your 30-minute expedition, one of our Creature Keepers will greet your group. As you and your junior paleontologists journey back in time, you’ll walk through our glowing Ice Cave and experience a fiery meteor shower all while learning about different dinosaur species.
Towards the end of the journey, you’ll experience the underwater world of our Coral Reef Dining Room where jellyfish descend from the ceiling and house over 5,000 gallons of saltwater fish tanks filled with tropical fish from all over the world!
Our tour is interactive so be prepared to dig up some questions for us! After your mind is full, you’ll want to fill your tummies, too! Refuel with our delicious Expedition Survival lunch prepared by our chefs from the Kitchen of Fire!
EXCURSION ITINERARY
Educational Tours are conducted in the morning, prior to our restaurant opening, so that your class can be WILD and explore the Prehistoric World uninterrupted. Tours are reservation-only for groups of 15 or more. Meals are served immediately after the tour. Lunch for attendees and adults must be served for all educational tours. For ages 3-12, special academic educational tours and lunch packages are available.
